I started buying Snap Kitchen in 2017 when I first moved to Dallas and was working as a News Anchor. My schedule was really busy and I wanted to keep my health goals in check without having to spend time cooking! I’ve basically never stopped since! I can’t speak in terms of comparing it to other similar companies, because i’ve never tried anyone else… but I think that says it all.

For those that don’t know, Snap Kitchen is a meal prep company, that offers healthy, tasty, thoughtfully sourced meals pre made, with no work for US other than maybe a microwave!

BREAKFAST

If you follow my stories a lot on Instagram, you know I do Intermittent Fasting. What’s that? Basically…. it’s an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. There are tons of benefits… full blog post coming soon. I usually do a 16 hour fast, which for me means I stop eating around 11pm and fast until about 3pm the next day! During this fasting period you don’t consume anything over 50 calories, so you can have water, black coffee, celery juice, lemon water, etc. Sometimes I still have my almond milk latte (but it’s technically breaking the fast). Everyday is different depending on my schedule, mood, workouts, travel, events. etc.! To learn more about Intermittent Fasting, check out my Instagram story highlight here!

TYPICAL EATING DAY:

  • Wake up 6-9am (depending on my schedule)

  • Workout (usually a run, pilates, or a HIIT workout) ( I workout 4-5x a week)

  • 16-24oz of Celery Juice on fasted stomach (Celery Juicing Blog Post)

  • Wait 30 minutes

  • Warm Lemon Water

  • ActivatedYou Greens w/ water

  • Coffee (either almond milk iced vanilla latte, cold brew with dash almond milk, or at home coffee- recipe here)

  • Vitamins (watch my supplements highlight on insta to learn more)

  • Plexus Pink Drink (learn more under my “Acne Journey” highlight on insta @janellepaigebrandom)

  • BREAK MY FAST around 2 or 3pm (depends on the day)

  • Liquid IV w/ water

  • 3pm Lunch- Juice from Snap Kitchen (green, carrot, lemon, strawberry… whatever i’m in the mood for) or homemade smoothie (smoothie recipe here)

  • 5pm Snacks- from Snap Kitchen (below)

    • Nuts, power bar, carrots chips, etc

  • 7-9pm Dinner- (dairy & gluten free meals seen below)

  • 10-11pm Dessert- (dairy & gluten free options seen below)

  • BED around 12am

There are so many different options that Snap Kitchen offers. I personally use the app to pick random dairy and gluten free meals and create my own “meal plan”. Snap Kitchen also has actual meal plans through the app that you can go in and pick based on your own PERSONAL health goals…
