Where to eat:
Joe T Garcias –– famous in Fort Worth for their Mexican food & strong margs. Be prepared to wait in line an hour because they do not take reservations. You can however drink IN LINE while you wait. They are also CASH ONLY!
what to d0:
Fort Worth Stock Yards –– so many fun shops, bars, & restaurants. There are also 2 cattle drives a day, where they clear the streets and walk the cattle down the road; 11:30am & 4pm!
Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo -– The best rodeo! Be sure to buy tickets before. The nachos are sold in singles, and a MUST order appetizer!
music & concerts:
Billy Bobs Texas –– Best concerts ever, vibe is amazing, look at schedule ahead to get the artist you want. You can also go bull riding here! 🐂
where to shop:
Lucchese –– inside hotel drover and on Main Street. Cute cowboy boots!

Stockyard Saloon — Looking for drinks, games, live music, this is your place to go!
traveling to fort worth:
We drove from Dallas, which takes only 45 minutes! If you’re from out of town, you can fly into DFW, which is a about a 30 minute drive to Hotel Drover, Billy Bob’s, Stockyards, etc.!
