My Ten Healthy Packaged Snacks

​One of the hardest things about staying on track with our health goals is those dreaded CRAVINGS. Trust me, I'm just like ya'll, I have major cravings every once in a while, A.K.A everyday  haha! Sometimes I'm craving chocolate, or sweets, or something salty. I have found so many amazing and yummy snacks over the years that help me when I want a little treat, but also keep me on track with my goals and not feeling dragged down or bloated. These snacks are all packaged, so they can be thrown in your car for emergency sweet tooth cravings, you can travel with them in your carry-on or suitcase, you can keep them in your pantry at home, or even your purse everyday!  

1.) Blue Diamond 

  • Almonds, are one of my go to healthy snacks because they have lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium, and vitamin E. They lower your blood pressure and your cholesterol. Sometimes we just mindlessly eat, so these are a healthy option that you don't have to worry about if your going to gain weight. 

2.) Planters- Whole Cashews

  • Cashews are so yummy to me, they are so smooth. They are high in healthy fat, rich in vitamin E, and a good source of minerals, particularly magnesium and zinc.

3.) Pistachios

  • YUM! Growing up I loved Pistachios, they are salty and tasty and easy to eat on the go. Fun fact they are technically a fruit, edible seeds of the Pistacia vera tree. 

4.) SkinnyPop

  • I have an interesting love/hate relationship with popcorn. Love the way it tastes, hate when it gets stuck in my teeth. But for me, this is one of those snacks that I can eat and eat and eat and not really feel puffy or bloated AT ALL. It's also what I call an "interactive snack". Half the time we're snacking it's because we are bored. Popcorn is great for those days because you can toss it in a bowl, and focus on eating it one piece at a time, not just shoving handfuls in your mouth haha!

5.) Dried Mangos

  • YAS! Dried mangos are my jam! I try to buy the bags with the least amount of added ingredients. So always check the back ingredient list first. The one linked here does have some sugars added, so NOT the BEST ever for you, but also way better then sour gummies. I always try to buy the natural ones at Whole Foods in the fruit and nut mix section. They are sweet enough to me to trick my mind into thinking I'm eating candy, especially because they are chewy also. But, maybe don't eat the whole bag haha

6.) Rhythm Superfoods Kale Chips

  • This snack is when I'm craving something that can crunch. I love potato chips, Cheetos, all things unhealthy chip related. So when I want something crunchy, I go for Kale Chips, they have so many different flavors for any craving you're having. 

7.) Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas Sea Salt

  • This is another great snack when you're wanting something crunchy. They are also loaded with fiber, zinc, and protein, so you feel like you are getting nutritional value also instead of just a bag of chips. They have a different type of crunch thought than a chip. It's hard to explain, but if you haven't tried them, give it a shot. 

7.) EPIC Bar Turkey Almond + Cranberry

  • When I'm running from meeting to meeting and always on the go, I sometimes forget to fuel my body. These little bars and easy to sustain me when I'm in a hurry. I like these because the ingredients are simple, clean, and they are gluten free. It's like a healthy version of a Slim Jim haha!

8.) RXBAR Blueberry 

  • My favorite protein bar, yes! They are chewy, and soft, and full of flavor. Truth me, if you like blueberries you'll love it. They have tons of other flavors too, but this is the best in my opinion. It literally only has 4 things in it; egg whites, almonds, cashews, and dates. 

9.) Lara Bar Bites Cherry Chocolate Chip 

  • Are you a fan of chocolate? This is what I go to when I want to CHEAT hehe. The perfect snack to toss in your purse for a movie, hehe so sneaky! They taste like little yummy soft warm cookie balls. Tons of different flavors too!

​10.) Blue Diamond Almond Nut-Thins 

  • Last, but certainly not least. WOW! I was introduced to these this weekend visiting a friend in Arizona, and I now have a huge crush on these! They taste just like a crunchy cracker that you would typically eat, BUT they are healthy. They are the perfect guilt-free snack, and come in 9 different flavors. They are made with rice flour and almonds!
